Experiencing God

“…In your presence is fullness of joy…” (Psalm 16:11b NKJV).

Equipping the Saints

"He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some
evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of
the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body
of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the
knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of
the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be
children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of
doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of
deceitful plotting, but speaking the truth in love, may grow up in
all things into Him who is the Head – Christ – from whom the whole
body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies,
according to the effective working by which every part does its
share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
(Ephesians 4:11-16 NKJV).

“For as we have many members in one body, but all the members
do not have the same function, so we being many, are one body in
Christ, and individually members of one another.  Having then
gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us … ”
(Romans 12:4-6a NKJV).

Empowering people

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon
you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all
Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8 NKJV).

“For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power,
and in the Holy Spirit…” (1 Thessalonians 1:5)

Transforming our community
and our world

“Your kingdom come, Your will be done, On earth as it is in
heaven” (Matthew 6:10).

“Then the seventh angel sounded:  And there were loud voices in
heaven, saying, ‘The kingdoms of this world have become the
kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign
forever and ever” (Revelation 11:15).

Making Disciples
“Go therefore and make disciples of all
the nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father, and of the Son, and of the
Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all
things that I have commanded you; and
lo, I am with you always, even to the of
the age.” Amen
(Matthew 28:19-20)

Showing Compassion
“For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I
was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was
a stranger and you took Me in; I was
naked and you
clothed Me; I was sick and you visited
Me; I was in prison
and you came  to Me.”
(Matthew 25: 35-36)

Healing the Whole Person
“And as you go, preach saying, ‘The
kingdom of heaven is at hand.’
“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise
the dead, cast out demons.
Freely you have received, freely  give.”
(Matthew 10:7-8)

Jesus said, “The first of all the
commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the
LORD our God, the LORD is one. And
you shall love the LORD your God with all
your heart, with all your soul, with all your
mind, and with
all your strength.’ This is the first
commandment.”
(Mark 12:29-30)

“And the second, like it is this: ‘You shall
love your neighbor as yourself.’
There is no other commandment greater
than these.”
(Mark 12:31)
